How We Work

Every job starts with a free, no-obligation quote. For smaller projects, photos via WhatsApp or email are often enough to give you a clear price. For larger or more complex jobs, we'll arrange a convenient time to visit and assess the work in person. Either way, you'll receive a clear, itemised quote — no vague estimates.

Once you're happy with the quote, we'll confirm your start date and talk through the plan. We'll discuss the order of work, any materials that need ordering (such as specific paint colours), how we'll work around you day-to-day, and anything you need to prepare before we arrive.

This is the step that separates a lasting finish from a poor one — and it's where many decorators cut corners. We fill cracks and holes, sand down uneven surfaces, apply primer to bare or porous areas, and carefully mask and protect everything that shouldn't be painted: floors, furniture, fixtures, switches and sockets.

With surfaces properly prepared, we get to work. Whether that's painting walls and ceilings, cutting in woodwork, hanging wallpaper, or spray-finishing kitchen cabinet doors, we work methodically and carefully. We apply the right number of coats for a solid, even finish and keep the work area tidy as we go.

Once the main work is done, we go back over everything with a critical eye. Final coats where needed, cutting in around edges and trim, removing masking tape cleanly, and touching up any small areas that need it. We don't consider a room finished until the lines are sharp and the finish is consistent throughout.

Before we pack up and leave, we walk through the completed work with you. We want to make sure you're completely happy. If there's anything you're not satisfied with, we'll put it right — no quibble, no extra charge. Your complete satisfaction is the only acceptable outcome for us.
