Common questions about end of tenancy painting
Is it better to touch up or fully repaint at end of tenancy?
It depends on the age and condition of the existing paint. If the paint is less than two or three years old and only a few walls are marked, touching up is cost-effective. For older, faded paint or heavily marked walls, a full repaint usually gives a better overall result.
Can you match the existing paint colour for touch-ups?
We can often get very close to an existing colour using our trade paint suppliers. However, on older paint that has faded, even a perfect colour match can look slightly different due to the age of the surrounding paint — in this case, full wall painting gives a more consistent result.
How soon can you start after the tenant moves out?
We aim to start within a few days of instruction. If you give us advance notice of the tenancy end date, we can book your slot in advance and begin work the day after handover if needed.
